MANILA – Century Properties Group Inc on Monday said it was on track to open its mixed-use project along Kalayaan Avenue in Makati City by the fourth quarter of this year.
In a statement, Marco R. Antonio, Century Properties President and CEO, said take-up of approximately 110 retail spaces at the Century City Mall has exceeded expectations.
“We are very excited to open Century City Mall because of its mix of brands, high-end cinemas, dining options, and concept stores. It will be open to the public, and will also serve as the neighborhood lifestyle and retail center for Century City residents, tenants and guests,” Antonio said.
The five-storey shopping center will have a net leasable space of 17,000 square meters. It has a gross floor area of 49,143 square meters with three basement floors allotted for parking.
“We expect to generate high foot traffic at Century City Mall because of its exciting mix of retail tenants that will complement what is presently available in other malls within Makati. In the process, this world-class retail development will also contribute to the enhancement of northern Makati’s landscape, realizing our vision for a truly modern Makati,” Antonio said.
The retail venture is located at the integrated Century City development, which comprises the luxury residential towers Gramercy Residences, Knightsbridge Residences, the Versace Home-interior designed Milano Residences, Trump Tower and the outpatient medical building called Centuria Medical Makati, designed in partnership with GE Healthcare.
