Century City now serves as one of the stops for Hop-on, Hop-off (HoHo) tour bus packages, a tourism initiative spearheaded by the Department of Tourism (DOT) in partnership with the Makati City Government.

The HoHo buses are like the tourist buses of popular destinations such as London, New York, Madrid, and Singapore. HoHo buses take tourists around designated spots in the city, where they can enjoy various activities in the itineraries curated by local tourism authorities, in this case, DOT-National Capital Region (DOT-NCR). Set to cover different tourist attractions all over Metro Manila, its first phase was launched in Makati last May 28.

According to DOT-NCR Regional Director Sharlene Z. Batin, the program is “geared to position the NCR as the first destination in the country that will provide tourists with a world-class tour program featuring different sites and attractions in Metro Manila”

The maiden route of the Makati HoHo bus has eight stops, starting at Glorietta 2 and culminating at the Ayala Triangle. Bus stops include Washington Sycip Park, RCBC Plaza, Circuit Makati, Century City, Museo ng Makati, and Rockwell Center.  The bus stop at Century City is the North Entrance of Century City Mall along the Kalyaan Loop.

DOT-NCR has recommended activities for every stop. For the Century City Bus Stop, shopping at Century City Mall and exploring the eclectic neighborhood of Poblacion—one of Metro Manila’s prime nightlife hotspots and a rising culinary hub—are just some of the must-try experiences.

Day passes for the HoHo bus cost P990, 2-day passes cost P1799, and 3-day passes cost P2499. For a more convenient experience, bookings and payments can all be made through the HoHo mobile app. Should the Makati HoHo bus route prove successful, other routes around the city of Manila and Quezon City are in the pipeline.
