MANILA, Philippines – Century Properties Group Inc. on Monday said its first retail development, the Century City Mall, will open in Makati in the fourth quarter of the year.
In a statement, Century said the construction on the Century City Mall, located along Kalayaan Avenue, is on schedule.
With some 110 retail spaces totaling 17,000 square meters of net leasable space, the five-storey mall has a gross floor area of 49,143 square meters. It has three basement floors for parking.
“We are very excited to open Century City Mall because of its mix of brands, high end cinemas, dining options, and concept stores. It will be open to the public, and will also serve as the neighborhood lifestyle and retail center for Century City residents, tenants and guests,” Marco Antonio, Century Properties President and CEO, said.
The mall is part of the mixed-use development Century City. Aside from the mall, it will have luxury residential towers Gramercy Residences, Knightsbridge Residences, the Versace Home-interior designed Milano Residences, Trump Tower at Century City and the outpatient medical building called Centuria Medical Makati.
“We expect to generate high foot traffic at Century City Mall because of its exciting mix of retail tenants that will complement what is presently available in other malls within Makati. In the process, this world-class retail development will also contribute to the enhancement of northern Makati’s landscape,” Antonio said.
