Century Properties Group, Inc.’s residential resort development in Parañaque, Azure Urban Resort Residences, received the highly coveted Best Condo Development in the Philippines Award in the recent South East Asia Property Awards held in Singapore.
The South East Asia Property Awards is organized by Ensign Media, publishers of the Property Report Magazine. This is the fourth year that the industry-leading publication presented the honors to the top developments and developers in the region.
“This is a huge honor for us and it will serve as our motivation to continue with our goal of delivering world-class projects that highlight the progress that is happening in the Philippines,” said Century Properties Vice Chairman John Victor Antonio.
“Creating an urban resort residential community in the middle of the city pushed the envelope of Philippine real еstatе. We are thankful for the recognition that the Southeast Asia Property Awards has given us as it inspires us to continue building innovative and quality real еstatе projects.”
Azure bested other notable developments from the Philippines’ other top developers. It took six months of “comprehensive deliberation and site visits across South East Asia” for the award organizers to determine the winners.
Azure, which had earlier also won in the Philippine Property Awards as the “Best Mid-range Condo Development in Manila”, is a six-hectare, nine-tower development that features a sprawling man-made beach complete with fine powdery sand and undulating waves. It is also home to a posh multi-level beach club co-designed by international style icon Paris Hilton. It is Hilton’s first real еstatе project in the world.
In conceptualizing Azure, Antonio said that Century envisioned an urban paradise wherein its residents can experience the beach resort lifestyle without having to leave the city 365 days a year.
Apart from the central Azure Beach, it also has an infinity pool that overflows into two private beach coves located at the opposing ends of the development, a beach bar, and children’s playground that further the overall beach resort vibe of the development.
The Paris Beach Club—with its restaurants, gym, studio, spas for men and women, locker rooms, illuminated hallways, game room, and movie room, among others—completes the unique urban residential resort experience offered by Azure.
Launched in 2009, Azure Urban Resort Residences has already turned over three of its residential towers: Rio, Santorini, and St. Tropez. In March this year, it launched the Paris Beach Club with Hilton herself leading the inaugural ceremonies.
Construction on the Miami and Positano towers, meanwhile, are in full swing in time for their projected turnover in 2015 and 2016.
Construction activities on the Maldives and Boracay towers, on the other hand, have reached the second level, while excavation work for the 8th tower, Maui, is already underway.
Century Properties earlier announced that it is replicating the success of Azure Urban Resort Residences’ beach resort theme in Pampanga through Azure North, an eight-hectare fully-integrated mixed-use development that will have residential towers as well as a commercial area, office, and hotel buildings.
