Century to develop Pampanga project with Paris Hilton endorsement

Century Properties Group, Inc. is planning a second collaboration with celebrity Paris Hilton for its P20-billion mixed-use development project in San Fernando Pampanga.

In an interview, Century Properties Executive Chairman of the Board Jose EB Antonio said the development, which is the firm’s first township project outside Metro Manila, will begin in the middle of the year.

“(The) Pampanga (project) will become Azure North and will also have a man-made beach. It will also have the Paris Beach Club part 2,” said Antonio referring to its successful nine-tower Azure project in Bicutan which features the first beach club designed by Hilton.

The 8-hectare Pampanga development will feature residential buildings, office buildings, a convention center and a mall, said Antonio adding that the residential buildings will be mid-rise structures that are 8 to 12 storeys tall.

“From our studies, Pampanga has one of the biggest base of overseas Filipino workers. After Metro Manila, the biggest concentration of OFWs is in central Luzon. We are developing one there,” said Antonio.

Antonio said “we will start with the retail and the commercial building. It’s going be a unique retail concept.”

Century Properties reported the completion and turnover of the third tower at Azure Urban Resort Residences, its six-hectare beach-inspired condominium development in Parañaque City.

Azure’s central amenity space – the Paris Beach Club and the first phase of the Azure Beach – are also complete and was officially opened by Hilton last Thursday.

The first two towers of Azure called Rio and Santorini delivered a combined number of 1,700 units in 2013. The third Azure tower, St. Tropez, will turn over close to 600 units in March.

The Paris Beach Club, one of the centerpieces of Azure, was designed to the specifications of international celebrity and style icon Paris Hilton.

The three-level beach club was completed recently, with cleaning works and testing of the facilities already on its final stages. Hilton is scheduled to return to Manila to inaugurate the beach club.

The first phase of the Azure Beach is also complete and undergoing final testing. This one-of-a-kind beach facility features fine beach sand, simulated ocean waves, waterfalls and an infinity pool that overflows into two private beach coves located at the opposing ends of the development.
