MANILA, Philippines – Property developer Century Properties Group continues to see robust pre-sales of its six developments in Metro Manila.

Century Properties chief financial officer Jose Carlo R. Antonio said this is attributed not just to high demand but to the market’s shift to “premium” products that offer value, quality and investment potential.

“As of the year ending 2012, we are happy to report a take up rate of 92%, equivalent to 12,289 of Century’s 23 launched buildings. The favorable economic backdrop helped boost market confidence and low home ownership rates are empowering end users and first time home buyers to make wise choices in their property purchases,” he said in a statement.

Among its affordable projects, Century said it has pre-sold 96% of the first 7 buildings of its P8-billion Azure Urban Resorts Residences. For its Residences at Commonwealth by Century in Quezon City, the company said 92% of its first 7 buildings were also pre-sold.

For the middle-income segment, Century said it has pre-sold the first 5 buildings within the P7-billion Acqua Private Residences in Mandaluyong City. Units at its branded residential towers Acqua Livingstone interior design by MissoniHome and Acqua Iguazu yoo inspired by Starck are now being sold an an average P145,000 per square meter.

Century also noted its Milano Residences with interiors designed by Versace Home and Trump Tower at Century City have been are pre-sold by 87% and 72% respectively.

The medical arts and outpatient facility Centuria Medical Makati is also showing strong performance, with 84% of its 553 clinic spaces pre-sold to mostly to medical doctors and healthcare practitioners.
