MANILA – Century Properties Group Inc reported brisk take-up for its maiden venture in Quezon City that caters to the affordable segment of the market.

In a statement, Marco R. Antonio, Century Properties co-chief operating officer and managing director, said the company has pre-sold 92 percent or 1,395 units out of the total 1,515 units at the Residences at Commonwealth by Century since its launch last July.

This makes the 4.4-hectare mid-rise community the company’s fastest selling project to date, Antonio said. The real еstatе developer has made available for sale five out of the eight towers.

“The Commonwealth project’s unique selling proposition of good location, well‐planned units and amenities offered at affordable prices attracted the market,” Antonio said.

“First time homeowners who are in search of value‐for‐money homes starting at P2.5 million found the Commonwealth project a good purchase, especially with the new standard of quality living that it is introducing in Quezon City,” he added.

The P4-billion eight-tower development offers suites and one‐bedroom units ranging from 21 to 49 square meters as well as two‐bedroom units from 64 to 72 square meters. Reservation fee for a unit is P15,000 and monthly amortization is set at P8,000.

The Commonwealth by Century residential package includes livable unit layouts with extended balconies, amenities that encourage outdoor social interaction, a master-planned community with open spaces, greenery and waterscape, and 24-hour safety and security systems.

The Residences at Commonwealth by Century marked Century Properties’ foray into the affordable market segment.

Previously known as a luxury and middle-income developer, Century Properties is the company behind branded residential developments such as the Azure Urban Resort Residences, which has a beach club designed by hotel heiress Paris Hilton; Trump Tower Manila with American real еstatе mogul Donald Trump; The Milano Residences with world-renowned fashion brand Versace; Acqua Livingstone with Italian brand MissoniHome; and Acqua Iguazu yoo inspired by Starck.
