Francis Libiran creates a magnificent collection for the gala launch of Century City Mall.
Neoprene is in, and for Francis Libiran’s special collection for Century City Mall, he proved that it can be cut, sewn, and transformed into anything. As if inspired by popular science fiction costumes, although toned down and refreshed in contemporary silhouettes, the designer showcased nearly a 40-piece collection that was set for the summer. The runway opened with stark white swimwear, that progressed into ladylike pastels, then a pseudo laser and lights show took place through LED infused dresses, and finally ended with 6 pieces decked out in a custom Century City Mall logo monogram print. All done on an elevated catwalk with automated dancing fountains.
If you’re having a hard time imagining what I’m talking about, head on over to the gallery and see what fashion is like at Century City for Francis Libiran.
