MANILA, Philippines – Rеal еstatе firm Century Properties said on Tuesday that its 5-storey commercial center in Century City in Kalayaan Avenue, Makati is slated to have a soft opening this month.
Century Properties said the 17,000-square meter net leasable space of Century City Mall is over 90% leased out to more than 100 tenants, which include a supermarket, restaurants, boutiques, specialty stores and cinemas.
The Century City Mall has a gross floor area of 49,143 square meters with three basement floors allotted for visitors’ parking.
The mall, which was initially scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2013, is one of four projects that Century is scheduled to complete this year.
The other three are the St. Tropez at the Azure Urban Resort Residences, Azure’s Paris Beach Club, and Centuria Medical Makati.
Century will turn over by the end of February nearly 600 units at St. Tropez, the third tower within the nine-building residential resort development.
The Paris Beach Club, a multi-level amenity center designed by Paris Hilton, is set to officially open in March. Century said the international celebrity is expected to personally attend the opening.
By the end of 2014, Century said more than 500 clinic suites will be turned over at Centuria Medical Makati, a 28-storey outpatient IT-medical arts building at Century City.
Century earlier said that in 2013, it reached its highest reservation sales in history with P24.6 billion.
“Century Properties opened 2014 riding high with a record pre-sales growth, and we intend to keep this momentum going with the same aggressive and impassioned approach we took in the past year. The results were tremendous so we expect to perform no less in 2014,” Century Executive Chairman of the Board Jose Antonio.
Several buildings are currently being constructed in Century City, namely Milano Residences (scheduled for a 2015 turnover), Trump Tower (scheduled for a 2016 turnover), the office-residential building called Century Spire (slated for a 2018 turnover).
