Commonwealth by Century: Standing in the path of property boom

Even its feng shui agrees – The Residences at Commonwealth by Century is located in an area seen to experience a property boom in the near future.

Citing the good balance in the project’s design and location, Feng Shui Master Christopher Co said Commonwealth by Century “is also a good property for future investment as the value of the property will increase.”

The pronouncement supports property developer Century Properties’ decision to launch “The Residences at Commonwealth by Century,” a 4.4-hectare masterplanned community that seeks to introduce “uncommon” living standards in Quezon City.

It is also proven by the visible progress in sections of Quezon City, including Commonwealth. Already, the next MRT expansion will run through the country’s widest road system as the government makes an effort to ease mobility in the area.

In recent years, the area has also seen pockets of positive business development, as reflected by the rise of shopping centers as well as the mushrooming of BPO companies.

As the industry puts a premium on location, Century Properties has considered factors such as proximity to places that matter in developing the Commonwealth project to ensure its success. Schools, shopping centers, worship temples, medical facilities among other things, are within convenient travel.

“This affirms that it is time to establish a residential project that reflects the bright future of Commonwealth,” Century Properties President and CEO Marco Antonio said.

Century Properties launched The Residences at Commonwealth in mid-2012. It is the latest in the developers’ roster of masterplanned communities. It also marked its first entry into the affordable segment. The Commonwealth project captures local and overseas buyers, mostly young professionals and startup families who have a budget from P2.5 million and up.

Despite the price point, the company has worked to offer features and amenities on a scale never before done in Quezon City. This move is the developer’s way of bringing its innovation to various markets and price points.

In creating the ideal living conditions, the developer is investing sizeable spaces that nurture its residents’ well-being. Units have been allotted with extended balconies. Outside, there are landscapes with pocket gardens, several water features, two full-size basketball courts (outdoor and covered), sunken badminton courts and an athletic bootcamp area.

It will also have a clubhouse designed with amenities: a day care center, kindergarten for kids, study and library, advanced learning center, arts and crafts studio, dance studio, cooking studio and kitchen, school of rock (rock n’ roll center) and a screening room. There will be a gym and fitness center with provisions for a salon and a spa, yoga deck, multi-purpose hall, a terrace and a roof deck.
