Rеal еstatе developer Century Properties Group Inc. has tapped I-Remit Inc. as its overseas payment collector for its clients abroad.
A disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Thursday revealed that Century Properties signed a memorandum of agreement on Thursday with I-Remit.
“The agreement seeks to improve the collection efficiency of Century Properties by authorizing and appointing I-Remit to act as a real еstatе payment collection and remittance agent for Century Properties for the latter’s clients abroad, i.e Filipino workers, immigrants, and other nationalities,” the disclosure said.
Century Properties also said that, “neither party has an obligation to market, promote, or endorse the other party’s products and services”. No further details were disclosed.
In a separate statement, Century Properties also said that it’s P2.1-billion project Centuria Medical Makati, a 28-storey outpatient medical facility now on its seventh floor of construction, is set to open in 2014.
“The P2.1-billion project is positioned to attract local residents and most especially medical travelers, who are looking for quality treatment in a world-class facility that can offer huge cost savings, as compared to costs of medical treatment in their own countries,” said Century Properties Executive Chairman of the Board Jose E.B. Antonio.
Centuria is scheduled for completion in 2014 and will house 553 clinics for doctors specializing in various medical practices.
