Century Properties, Columbian Group break ground for BGC office tower

MANILA, Philippines – Century Properties Group Inc., in partnership with the Columbian Group of Companies of Jose Ch. Alvarez, brings another high-end development to the bustling Bonifacio Global City (BGC) with the recent groundbreaking of a 23-story office development, with a gross floor area (GFA) of 29,503.43 square meters.

The building, expected to be finished by 2016, is the future home of what will be the largest BMW showroom in the country.

“With this development project, we are addressing the demands for a highly efficient and effective office destination that future locators will be proud of. This will carry Century Properties’ DNA of delivering quality, efficient and attractive office real еstatе,” said Century Properties Executive Chairman of the Board Jose E.B. Antonio.

Century has already established its presence in BGC through residential developments such as Essensa East Forbes, which is the first building to rise in BGC, and South of Market, the country’s first fully-fitted, fully furnished condominium.

Located at 27th St. on 3rd and 4th Ave. of BGC, Century and Columbian’s office development will bear a modern design and have sky gardens, a Sky Bar that overlooks the BGC complex, a café, conferencing and meeting facilities, and other recreational facilities.

Spatially, the office will adopt a mix of features and design that relate to a 24-hour working schedule. It has design fixtures that facilitate the reduction of energy consumption, making it an environment-friendly structure.

Century Properties, which has been in the industry for 27 years, is the pioneer of the branded development concept, forging partnerships with top international brands. This year, Century Properties is slated to open its first retail development, Century City Mall, inside the master-planned community development Century City in Makati. In 2013, Century also launched the Armani/Casa interior designed residential-office tower, Century Spire, both in Century City.
