Century Launches P4.1-B QC Project

Century Properties Group, Inc. is developing a P4.1 billion, 4.4-hectare mid-rise community for the first time in Quezon City, further expanding its product lines from the luxury and middle-income segments to the affordable residential market.

The firm is building the eight-tower project called The Residences at Commonwealth by Century – bringing its tradition of pioneering never-before experienced lifestyle concepts to Metro Manila’s largest city.

Commonwealth by Century will have a total of 2,300 units and will rise in Commonwealth Avenue right beside Don Antonio Heights, and is within the vicinity of a shopping center, top schools, techno hubs, churches and major thoroughfares.

“For the first time ever, Century Properties is bringing its vaunted heritage of upscale visionary real еstatе development to the Commonwealth, Quezon City area,” said Century Properties President and CEO Marco R. Antonio.

He said it will be surpassing the usual standards set for residential projects within this category by introducing pioneering amenities and concepts that will far exceed what the market has been accustomed to.

“Century will introduce the ‘uncommon’ to redefine the standards for residential living in Quezon City. Hence, the ‘Quezon City re-imagined’ tagline,” Antonio said.

The Commonwealth by Century residential package includes livable unit layouts with extended balconies, distinctive amenities that encourage outdoor social interaction, a masterplanned community with open spaces, greenery and waterscapes; and round the clock safety and security systems for the peace of mind of all residents.

Designed by the award-winning firm Broadway Malyan with Century’s in-house architecture team, the development’s eight residential towers are named after the prominent personalities of the Commonwealth period.

Osmeña West, the first building, will rise at 11 floors with 200 units and will be delivered in 2015. Succeeding buildings such as the Quezon, Roxas, Osmeña and Quirino towers will rise to as high as 22 storeys.

Antonio said that the Commonwealth project seeks to capture local and overseas buyers, especially young professionals and startup families that consider P1.5 to P3 million within their budget range for a home.

Units come in suites and one-bedroom configurations that range from 21 to 49 square meters with an average price of P80,000 per square meter. Larger-cut 2-bedroom units from 64 to 72 square meters worth P5 million and up are also available.
