MANILA, Philippines – International celebrity Paris Hilton is back in Manila for the inauguration of the Paris Beach Club, her first real еstatе project in the Philippines.
Upon arriving on the morning of Sunday, March 9, the socialite took to Twitter to greet the Filipinos a good morning.
Throughout the week, Hilton is scheduled to tour the city, do photoshoots, meet with Century Property executives, as well as attend the press conference and ribbon cutting of her beach club, to be held Thursday, March 14. She returns to the US the following day, March 15.
Hilton, whose great grandfather founded international hotel chain Hilton Hotels, first visited the country in 2011 for the announcement of the development, a joint project with Century Properties. Hilton signed on the project to help design the multi-level beach club, poised to become one of the primary amenities in Azure Urban Resort Residences, a beach-themed community development in Parañaque City.
The Paris Beach Club features amenities such as the Paris Beach Bar, a social lounge, indoor and outdoor restaurants, ice cream and candy bars, a fitness center, spas for men and women, a theater room, a game room, and a daycare facility.
True to the beach theme, also located in the 6-hectare community is a man-made beach with fine sand and simulated beach waves as well as two private beach coves. In addition to these amenities are an infinity pool, a volleyball area, a zen garden, and a playground.
“I can’t believe that the beach club is already done. It seems like it was only yesterday since I visited the Philippines and worked with the Century team, ” said Hilton in a statement, adding that she can’t wait to see the end result of the project.
The hotel heiress expressed her excitement through Instagram photos of her investment, saying she “always dreamed to follow in [her] family’s footsteps.”
The business-minded celebrity has dabbled in modeling, acting, singing, publishing, and other business ventures such as her own clothing line and record label. In mid-2013, she announced plans of releasing her second album, followed-up by the release of the song “Good Time” featuring rapper Lil Wayne.
Hilton’s first self-titled album Paris was released some 7 years ago and peaked at the 6th spot in the US Billboard charts. Among Hilton’s most well-known television projects is reality show Simple Life, where she, along with actress Nicole Richie, was tasked to take on blue-collar jobs.
