Brazilian carnival in Mandaluyong

Acqua Private Residences, the Philippines’ first residential Eden, celebrated the summer of 2013 by partying Brazilian style at the property’s showroom grounds in Mandaluyong City.

“Acqua Carnaval Brasil” hosted by developer Century Properties was a visual spectacle with no less than the Filipino samba school Imperatriz Filipinenze unleashing a truly pulsating sonic experience. Once the drums roared and filled Acqua’s spacious grounds, the guests were on their feet, joining in the revelry to celebrate South America’s most festive country.

The guests got to enjoy these amid a setting that pays tribute to a body of water located on the border of Argentina and Brazil, the majestic Iguazu Falls, after which Acqua’s latest tower was named.

“Brazil is home to some of the world’s most beautiful coastlines, such as the ones in Rio, Sao Paulo and Bahia. The people of Brazil celebrate life by the water, and remarkably, a green consciousness amidst very urban surroundings. It is in fact one of our inspirations when we envisioned creating the Philippines’ first residential Eden: the Acqua Private Residences,” Century Properties President and CEO Marco Antonio told the guests.

Event sponsors Zen Institute and I Go Beyond Yoga gave generous rewards through raffles of gift certificates. A medical spa, the Zen Institute gave away thousands worth of treatments in its Quezon City and Bonifacio Global City branches, while I Go Beyond Yoga raffled off free yoga sessions for its Quezon City and Bonifacio High Street branches.

Acqua turned up the heat notches higher that evening by inviting the country’s hottest male celebrity and Century Properties’ brand ambassador Piolo Pascual to share his personal experience as a property owner and investor.

Piolo is a proud owner of a unit at the Gramercy Residences, his first Century home.

Acqua buyers that night also got the added bonus of a certificate welcoming them into the community.

Acqua Private Residences is a premium waterfront development with six condominium towers, a retail strip, and a country club by the water called the Pebble. The Pebble has four levels and 3,000 square meters of facilities for fitness, recreation, relaxation and wellness.

Since its launch in 2011, Acqua Private Residences has successfully sold majority of the units in its first four towers: The Niagara, Sutherland, Dettifoss and the fourth tower, Livingstone, which is interior designed by the famous Italian luxury brand MissoniHome. The fifth tower is Acqua Iguazu yoo inspired by Starck, which is set to rise to 56 storeys. A branded residential tower, its amenities including The Cielo skydeck are interior designed by the international firm yoo, founded by John Hitchcox and Philippe Starck.
